Investigators are facing challenges in recovering the black box data recorders, wreckage, and bodies from an Air France plane that suddenly plunged into the Atlantic Ocean June 1 with 228 on board.  Still, they believe they're getting closer to determining the cause of the crash.

What happened to Air France Flight 447? There was no emergency signal after it took off from Brazil last night on an overnight flight to Paris when it just dropped off radar three hours into the flight.   The airline believes there is no hope, though a search operation is underway.
