University of Colorado researchers found, human hands not only harbor far greater numbers of bacteria species than previously believed, but women have a significantly higher amount of bacteria on their palms than that of men.

There are very few surfaces that are truly germ free. We have a list of germy surfaces your cleaning supplies will be happy to get acquainted with. Some, you may never have realized as the worst germ offenders, while others may seem obvious.

Use the same disinfectant wipe on a toilet, then a sink, then a keyboard, and you are likely undermining the reason you turned to a disinfectant wipe in the first place, say researchers presenting a study in Boston today. Washing hands with soap and water is still considered the best anti-bacterial method to use in a hospital setting.
