The Wii mote controller charging station can heat up and burn hands and pose a fire hazard. The CPSC issued a recall, in cooperation with the company, after receiving six consumer complaints.

You could have one of these refrigerators in your home. They were sold between 2001 and 2004 and are now being voluntarily recalled by Maytag because of a potential fire hazard. 1.6 million will need repair.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has fined HSN $875,000 over failing to report a defective pressure cooker that was the subject of a recall and burned 37 consumers.
