Sanofi-Aventis has pulled four lots of infant swine flu vaccine, about 800,000 doses because of a potency problem. The vaccine should still work, the CDC says.

Thousands of parents of autistic children received news today that a special vaccine court denied three families seeking compensation. The court ruled the families did not convince the court the measles, mumps and rubella vaccines caused their children's autism.

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) said on Wednesday that it has discontinued a controversial study intended to assess the effectiveness of chelation (kee-LAY'-shun) as a potential autism treatment.

The national vaccine court, a no-fault payout system that protects manufacturers, will consider the test case of two 10-year old boys with autism to see if their conditions merit compensation under the fund.
