Merck Overturns $32 Million Vioxx Award

Lawyers for Merck & Co. have successfully overturned a $32 million verdict in favor of a man's widow after he had a heart attack following one month taking the painkiller, Vioxx.  Merck has agreed to pay a $4.85 billion settlement and is facing about 27,000 other lawsuits.
