New research suggests that adding Zometa (zoledronic acid) to post-surgery hormone therapy, reduces the risk of breast cancer recurrence or death in premenopausal women by 36 percent compared to hormone therapy alone.

Intrinsa, a female testosterone patch by Proctor & Gamble, showed promising results in boosting the enjoyment of sex in post-menopausal women, but preexisting concerns about the cancer risk of hormone therapies means U.S. women won’t be getting an equivalent Viagra anytime in the near future.

A new study published in the European Heart Journal suggests hormone therapy replacement, or HRT, does not raise the risk of heart attack in women, but rather how and when it is administered.

A new study, found men and women over 50 expects the desire for and ability to have sex to lessen with age. The findings also suggest women were more likely to be surprised and less prepared for physical changes.
