A Georgia Supreme Court decision will allow those catastrophically injured by medical malpractice to take their case before a jury and have the jury decide what the case is worth, without imposed caps.

The FDA has sent warning letters to the world's largest food company, Nestle, for the promises it makes about brain development and sugar content in foods for young children.

Manufacturers that process or hold food are now required to report any contamination within 24 hours under new FDA regulations, all in an effort to keep food-borne illness away from the public.

Linda Rivera has been hospitalized since last May from eating raw cookie dough contaminated with E. coli 0157. With her condition worsening, her chance for recovery looks slim. 80 others suffered some form of sickness from the contaminated dough.

It is still a mystery how E. coli 0157 made it into cookie dough found in the Nestle Toll House plant in Virginia- but federal microbiologists have identified it there.  That section of the plant has been closed displacing 250 workers.
