British Petroleum's CEO made the rounds of the television and radio talk shows Monday to take responsibility for the cleanup of a massive Gulf of Mexico oil spill which still is not capped. While litigation has begun, sorting out the players could take some time as at least three other companies were involved in constructing the well.

A Dallas Cowboys staff member was left paralyzed and two other team staffers remain hospitalized following the facility collapse on Saturday, which is now the subject of a federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration investigation, authorities said.

Falls account for one out of three deaths at construction sites and the numbers are not getting any better.  100,000 are injured at construction sites every year.  Unfortunately, OSHA is criticized for not using the leverage it has to impose fines on job sites that are not safe.
