Ozone pollution eminating from fossil fuel plants, chemical solvents, and cars, is linked to an increase in respiratory deaths in this published study. Los Angeles and Riverside California are particularly high in ozone levels.

From the collapse of the World Trade Towers in September 11, 2001 until the first lawsuit is heard against NYC for failing to protect first responders - will be nine years. Today both sides agreed to a May 2010 date, but some who are suffering health problems today, may not be around by then.

It's been nearly three years since Hurricane Katrina forced thousands of residents into mobile homes. FEMA trailers have been evacuated and samples sent to a national laboratory which finds particleboard and plywood as the source of formaldehyde, at rates 4 to 11 times the typical U.S. home. Formaldehyde is used in cheap baby furniture too.
