The third death associated with the controversial drug Tysabri has been reported. Four cases of a rare brain infection have been reported over the last five months. The drug is used to treat multiple sclerosis but was pulled from the market in 2005, after three patients contracted the virus. 

Fred Baron, past president of the American Association for Justice and a well known environmental trial lawyer, lost his fight for life to cancer, despite the use of a last-ditch experimental drug.

Prominent lawyer, Fred Baron, after initially being turned down, will now receive a drug that is experimental and in clinical trials. He is fighting multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells. Other families wanting experimental drugs are watching this case.
