Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a common brain change seen in about one in five veterans returning from Iraq and Afganistan. Now researchers are scanning the brain and are able to see subtle traumatic brain injuries - the first step to effective treatment for all kinds of neurological disorders that come from trauma.

InjuryBoard launches a nationwide Wii donation program of 70 systems to be used for rehabilitation at hospitals, veterans centers, and nursing homes. Increasingly, the Nintendo entertainment system is receiving much praise for inspiring the injured to move and enjoy it.

A group of military veterans filed a class action lawsuit against the federal government on Wednesday claiming they were illegally denied disability benefits despite being diagnosed with severe cases of post-traumatic stress disorder, that should qualify them for lifetime free care.
