Charla Nash will not be given a hands and face transplant by the Cleveland Clinic where she has been since a chimp attack last February. The clinic says there is a long regulatory process and the surgery is very complex.

Charla Nash is making some progress but doctors at the Cleveland Clinic now say she likely will not recover her eyesight after a 200 pound chimp attack.  She has filed a $50 million lawsuit against the chimp's owner.  The animal, killed by police, had been given Xanax for anxiety just before the attack.
